First Dubya's re-election caused stress and depression amongst the Dims. Now, here's the first death.

Esther Howe Wescott, a lifelong Democrat who idolized Franklin Roosevelt, died on Dec. 24 shortly after expressing her fierce opposition to President Bush. Man, Karl Rove is everywhere.

More proof, if such were needed, that "old" and "wise" are not synonyms.

Weren't there already a few DemDespair deaths after the election? Or were those just the 'last wish = anti-bush vote' deaths I'm thinking of?

It's likely she'll continue to vote for another 50 years.

Dying with that much hate in one's heart isn't a good way to leave this earth. Hope she didn't take too many heavy winter clothes along...

Another Roosevelt Democrat who never realized that the party changed. I've got one in my family too.

"In her last words, she said she had wanted anyone but Bush to be president." I would advise this tortured creature to get a life but .. I guess that advice is moot now. I mean, jeeesh, is this all this woman has to say for herself? Apparently so.

Bury her in Chicago, she can remain active in Democratic Party politics.

Lets not forget that wacko feminist author who just died.
You are right, first therapy, now death. How long before the DNC demands federal money for this depression.
For the life long democrats it must realy be sad to see their party dying the death of a thousand leftists.

Mrs. Wescott, who was 100, was born in Portland on Nov. 10, 1904, 16 years before American women had the right to vote. And they still don't have the right to vote at age 16, so why mention this?

I don't celebrate anyone's death, but there's something inherently funny about that line. I'm getting a visual that's bringing tears to my eyes :)

This shows the depth of Democrats hatred. Most would die with thoughts of God or family Demorats die with thought of hatred for George Bush,

It must be terrible going through 100 years of life and being as foolish at the end as you were at the beginning!
