planet terry praises oxfam.org--a leftist organisation associated with amnesty international and the like:
"Control Arms is a campaign jointly run by Amnesty International, IANSA and Oxfam".
Why did he come to this board?
That's because all the money has gone to corrupt Communist officials' personal pockets. Witness how Li Peng family has converted the whole electricity industry asset to its own ownership, Jiang Zemin's sons having a free hand in China's telecommunications industry, and Zhu Rongji's sons in the finance sector.
Meanwhile, Beijing is officially running in reds (it has been on deficit for ages now).
These information is easily obtained from Chinese-language media. It's just because you Westerners don't have access to it. ;)
"every nation has offered very little relief compared to the size of this disaster. the left will say 35 million from the USA pays for 4 hours of Iraq occupation.
why have u printed a picture with all the dead bodies?
would you show piles of dead bodies from a bomb?
or from 9/11?
was 12/26 worse than 9/11?"
Hey planet terry!
What color is the sky on your planet?
I guess you're part of the left. 35 million for 4 hours of the "Iraq occupation"?
I suspect you tolerated the hundreds of thousands of PEOPLE Saddam slaughtered much easier because it fit your hideous lefty viewpoint.
Get a soul, pal.
Happy Kwanzaa to you too.
And that's why we're reduced to reading between the lines of what news we do see. :)
Much thanks, and please do forward the Chinese news our way . . . or suggested links would work!
Regards from Tejas (Texas)
This picture will haunt me forever.
That picture says far more than 1000 words.
There are no words for this.
Over here. :)

There can be no rational answer except maybe to provide some entertainment for the Viking Kitties, I suppose.
LOL! Well, it seems that our new "friend" planet terry doesn't want to talk now.
Do you think it's shy? hehehe!
Of course that would exclude the typical behavior of a city rat, which would imply that this is a country rat.
However, we might be observing a species other than a native country rat, such as a trollo liberalien©.
This in turn could lead one to deduce that said species trollo liberalien© has a previously undetected personality component.
We may be on the brink of a biological neo-behavioral discovery!
I read earlier on a blog that the actual numbers of dead are not being released. The poster said the number was more like 500,000 and might end up around 1,000,000.
They said because of avoiding widespread panic, the real numbers were not being put in the media.
Don't know how true this is. Has anyone else heard this?
LOL! That was a great post!
You are very clever!
BTW I hope Christmas went okay for you. We did better than we thought this first Christmas without Dad. I said a little prayer for you and your family.
12-26 was a natural disaster.
9-11 was a terrorist attack.
Or was 9-11 the result of imperialist American foreign policy?
You have some "splainin" to do.
"They said because of avoiding widespread panic, the real numbers were not being put in the media."
Well, seeing as Indonesia first said the quake was a 6 or 7 I wouldn't put it past them. A totalitarian gov't that wants everyone to think everything is perfect, we can handle it, etc.
However, I think with the massive destruction a true number will never be known. By the time disease takes over it could get to 1 million.
That is, some of the NGO "aid organizations" are so entrenched in that elite life style that to them the identification of the bodies of fellow members of the elite cultures is more important than the health of the local community there at the scene.
For the sake of "closure" amoung the elites they are willimg to risk the health of the servant class -- the local communities that provided the workers for the tourist, vacationer and sex trades there.
Botulism is no stretch. I wanted to mention rats -- but I believe you have already touched on that.
