I couldn't believe how much time the broadcasting crew, the Halftime show, and now the post game (I've turned it off) are spending bashing Ohio State. I was so pissed when ESPN Magazine published the completely unsubstantiated Clarett allegations a week and a half before the Michigan game.
Are there boosters out there giving money to players, as the recent Smith episode shows, undoubtedly. OSU has GOT to turn up the heat and hammer all of those idiots. But do I think the Buckeye staff is complicit, no way.
I am an OSU Alum and am continually amazed at how many people revel in hating Ohio State. But then again, after President Bush was reelected and fatass Michael Moore called for the Bucks to lose, this victory tonight is extra sweet!
GO BUCKS!

Yup. I admit it, I was DEAD WRONG. I was impressed by the Cowboys when they played OU. I watched a lot of the other OSU this year and the only time they impressed me was against Michigan. So I figured without the rivalry juice and w/o the QB, they'd flop. They proved me wrong.

Yup. I admit it, I was DEAD WRONG...I had to give you some ribbing there. Ohio State had too dominant a defense and too many offensive weapons. You are correct though, THE OSU (Ohio State) did not show all they ahd in many games this season. Some younger players came into their own as the season progressed.

I won a bit of dough thanks to NW's shocker over OSU! It probably left too much of an impression.

I admit it. I was so wrong. Zwick learned the playbook over the past few weeks. I lost a few bucks over this. Live and learn ;-)

" I am an OSU Alum and am continually amazed at how many people revel in hating Ohio State."
Since Tressell arrived it has been very, very bad. Other than the fact he knows how to win, and thus typical envy takes over and drives a lot of this, there is one other especially interesting item that is not commented on much.
Tressell is an overt Christian; his WWJD wristband is always visible during the games. Of course I'm not implying he is some kind of special saint (except in the football sense of course). But, lately, Christian bashing has been real chic; especially if the Christian in question is successful.
