Hmmmm, Kwanza, founded by a psychopath. Islam, founded by a psychopath. Most curious.

The "principle" Ujamaa - cooperative economics - is the name of a suspect from one of the cells out in Portland or Seattle. Remember James Ujaama?

based on an African harvest festival

maybe they could re-run it at Thanksgiving?

”Through ignorance or racism, growing numbers of black Christians are either celebrating Kwanzaa or incorporating it into their Christmas celebrations. Now many preachers are incorporating Kwanzaa into their messages. This is a horrible mistake.”

Two things Kwanzaa are – 1: it is a phony and utterly false conception of African anything and 2: it was conceived by a not so “black” man to gain monetary capitol. In short, it has no place in public school programs Christmas or other wise. The “Marxist Theory” of an undereducated Snake Oil Salesman…God-hating black racist named Ron Karenga.

Here's the real kicker (from this ANN COULTER post: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1308992/posts).
"Coincidentally, the seven principles of Kwanzaa are the very same seven principles of the Symbionese Liberation Army, another charming invention of the Least-Great Generation. In 1974, Patricia Hearst, kidnap victim-cum-SLA revolutionary, posed next to the banner of her alleged captors, a seven-headed cobra. Each snake head stood for one of the SLA's revolutionary principles: Umojo, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba and Imani -- precisely the seven "principles" of Kwanzaa."

Deborah Jones, who once was given the title of an African queen,

African Queen?

I thought that was Johnny Mathis.
