Recipe for a Happy New Year
To leave the old with a burst of song To recall the right and forgive the wrong; To forget the thing that binds you fast To the vain regrets of the year that's past; To have the strength to let go your hold Of the not worthwhile of the days grown old, To dare to go forth with a purpose true, To the unknown task of the year that's new; To help your brother along the road To do his work and lift his load; To add your gift to the world's good cheer, Is to have and to give a Happy New Year.

Had snow on Mauna Kea in October. Didn't last but a day. We'll see more this winter though, when the cloud cover lifts. Some times it comes down to the 8000' level; Mauna Loa too. It's a sight to see.
Makes the astronomers unhappy though. They schedule time on the telescopes far in advance; If there's a winter storm up there during their scheduled time, they loose out.

This is what I understand Sri Lanka they bow down to their minority Muslum population they hate israel so much they refuse help
I don't know about you guys I rather get help from Israel they at IDF know how retrieve dead bodies or live bodies
Check this out there is report off Wash Post some idiotttt reporter run smack chat on Dubya for vacationing down at Crib in Crawford TX
For the record I find it very insenstive that only Fox news has coverage of earthquake and tidal wave and CNN and MSNBC refuse break into Jack LaAnne Power juicer Informaial
That disgusting
Now I find very that rude
CNN you had international bureau you could turn it over them
OR MSNBC you have Asian news bureau
Dont' just say because Fox news has coverage because of Brit cousin SKy news
SHUT UP you refuse get back from your Christmas holiday

I'm pretty much in the dark ages, taking baby steps forward. I'm not ready to give up my VCR, so if I must have a CD player, what better than side by side. It's been in the box for months.....maybe I need to get it out. LOL!

You got some great treads with indestructible sidewalls Yes! The last set of tires wasn't bad -- no tire other the kind on monster trucks could have survived the pothole I slammed into.
But I thought you all would get a kick out of hearing that I received an urgent call from my tire man today asking me to bring the car back in because he was concerned that his mechanic had not given me a matching set of tires.
I ran out to the garage to look and sure enough, there was one odd ball tire. LOL! After all of that talk of replacing all 4 tires for aesthetics, and I didn't even notice!
TSgt, thank you for explaining the physics of wide vs. low profile tires. You gave me terrible flashbacks of my SATs --questions like, if two cars with wheels of different circumferences travel the same distance, will one set of wheels rack up more rotations . . . and what time will the train arrive in New York? LOL!
All of that talk of little wheels also reminded me of my dimwitted neighbor who put those little things on his ATV. Why would one do that?
