TOLEDO, Ohio -- Ohio's presidential recount is complete and the final outcome is unchanged: President George W. Bush won.
Democrat John Kerry did shave a few hundred votes off Bush's victory in the state. An Associated Press count of all 88 counties' unofficial totals shows Bush beating Kerry by 118,457 votes.
No one expected the recount to change the winner of the election, but supporters of the process said they wanted to make sure that every vote was counted.
Ohio and its 20 electoral votes tipped the race to Bush when Kerry conceded the morning after the vote. The state declared Bush the winner by 119,000 votes.
Call Bev Harris
Suicide watch at DUmmyLand.
In today's breaking news . . . Bush still president, Michael Moore still fat.
Why won't Kerry and his die-hard fanatics also push for recounts in those state that he won by tens of thousands less votes than in Ohio...e.g. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Minnesota?
Once again the Democratics insist that we shovel public money to prove what everyone else already knows.
Bush is ahead? They obviously don't know how to count in Ohio.
We should keep the post-election suicide hotline number up: 1-800-BUSH-WON
The Gloat-a-thon continues.
I love it.
Of course he won! After all, the CEO of Diebold (based in Ohio) said he would deliver Ohio to Bush. So what was everyone expecting? Randi Rhodes should have a blast with this one. She of liberal anti-Bush pro-Kerry "mind."
Bush still wins? 2000 deja vu, bwahahahaha
BUSH WINS AGAIN! PING!
You just wait, Kerry will be sworn in yet /sarcasm.
Ohio clearly needs help counting from the dedicated Washington state folks.
If anyone has a DUmmy account.. someone post this over there.
:)
The tactic of casting doubt on the legitimacy of lost elections began in Eastern Europe after the Cold War. Communist regimes which were booted immediately started trying to undermine the new government in hopes of regaining power the next time. It is being continued by the left (Democrats) in this country. The whole idea is power, power, power. Once they have that, they don't need your permission.
Am I the only one who noticed that the Dems managed to pick up a few votes on the recount? Now, why is it do you think that on any recount the Dems always manage to gain a few? In a win this size it doesn't matter, but we have to put a stop to this vote fraud that the Dems always seem to pull off. Seems to me the computer voting machines are our best bet. Plus laws that state clearly you can't count votes that have already been tossed, none of this guessing at how someone would have voted, as has happened in Floria(2000) and now this year in WA.
Why don't these rabid clowns go do their endless recounts in the much closer Wisconson and then PA, where massive fruad was carried out by the ever thieving RATS?
