Remember Kosovo?
By Cliff Kincaid | December 28, 2004
Clinton's policy was not to bomb those terrorists but to support them and bomb the Christian Serbs.
AIM put together a list of the most underreported or buried stories of 2004, and one of them was the resurgence of anti-Serb, anti-Christian violence in Kosovo. Dozens were killed and more Christian churches were destroyed there. Kosovo got some attention near the end of the year when newspapers covered the fact that a former leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the KLA, became prime minister in a new Kosovo-based government. A story in the Washington Post, back on page 18, noted that he has been accused of "war atrocities" and may be indicted. Here's the rest of the story.
Clinton's 1999 NATO war in Kosovo was illegal under U.S. and international law. The U.S. Congress never voted for it and the U.N. never endorsed it. There was no claim that Yugoslavia had weapons of mass destruction or had ties to terrorist groups. Instead, Clinton had the U.S. intervene on behalf of the terrorists, operating in Kosovo under the banner of the KLA. They had links to Osama bin Laden. In fact, it is reported that the KLA's head of elite forces, Muhammed al-Zawahiri, was the brother of Ayman al-Zawahiri, the military commander for bin Laden's Al Qaeda. After the war, the KLA was transformed into the police force for Kosovo.

Actually I am pro-American and anti European Union - seeing them a a threat. I am also anti- United Nations. I am also not a Libertarian - more a classical conservative. Lastly, your gross distortion of truth regarding Srebrenica tells me all I need to know about you and your anti-Serb and pro Muslim views in which you try and push blame away from the Yugoslav Muslims and on to the Mafia groups for all the problems in Kosovo and Bosnia.

Mr Mark, Hiroshima and Nagasaki must not be used in any comparison with the attack on Pearl Harbor. Slavery, a heinous evil, rightfully should be examined, even if the words "free enterprise" are not mentioned. Zinn is not comparing George Washington with Eugene Debs; he uses the life of Eugene Debs to expose how the American worker was exploited to serve the privileged few.

Classical Conservatives share a distrust of govt. Where Libertarians want extremely limited govt to the point of irrelevancy, I think there is a place for govt - restricted but still there and having more of a role than building roads and maintaining the military - which I think is the only thing the Libertarians want govt. to do. I don't mind being compared to a Libertarian - it is not a bad place to be.

still no Srebrenica reply and my "anti-Serb, pro-muslim" remark you posted. Don't worry, you can't back up your Srebrenica scenario anyways.

Srebrenica - Muslims armed and carrying out attacks on Serbs against the so called safe haven's rules set up by the UN - Serbs decide to clean out vipers nest. Muslims on long retreat shot at by Serb irregulars from distances with mortars and up close - some Muslim rear guards are armed but vast majority were not - that is how most were killed. Some outright executions of Muslims - a few hundred at the most a few dozen at the least.
This is my scenario. Next time the Muslims live in a safe haven let them act like it.

point shot, back of head. many many more then you think. summary execution, Serbs are guilty of those actions.
You don't think they should be held accountable, regardless of circumstances that lead up to the counter-offensive?

What do I as an American have to do with judging other peoples wars? If anything - since America/NATO were participants in hostilities against the Serbs they lose any rights to stand in judgement.
