The GOP needs to do everything they can to uncover voter fraud. If you remember back when Bob Dornan lost his seat, there were at least two other Republicans who lost their seats through voter fraud
and the GOP did nothing. That told the democrats that they could have their way using fraud because the GOP would do nothing about it. What was the result? We got Algore, chad's and the whole kit and kaboodle.
The GOP needs to do something about voter fraud every time it rears it's ugly head.

King County is the one county that was allowed to take ballots that were declared dead in November and bring them back to life in December. Typical Republican Party B.S. The votes counted in December were uncounted in November because they were misplaced. Nobody ever declared them "dead in November".

Pleased to meet you mm, heard a lot about you.
"Typical Republican Party B.S. The votes counted in December were uncounted in November because they were misplaced. Nobody ever declared them "dead in November".
To make it fair, I went to an outside source to point out the votes were previously disqualified.
"The state Supreme Court ruled unanimously Wednesday that at least 573 previously disqualified absentee ballots -- potentially enough to swing the state's tightest election ever for Gregoire -- can be counted. The votes are from King County, which includes Seattle and is by far the largest and most strongly Democratic county in the state." more at WAPO
My bold.

We'll never get a fair shake here unless we bring in the feds or have a new election. We already know where our state courts stand.
This situation reminds me of the Scott Peterson case. Tons of circumstantial evidence that can only lead a rational person to one conclusion. Same thing here with this election. So many questionable circumstances that can only lead a sane, rational person to conclude that this election has been rigged.

I read another story in the Billings Gazette from the AP that said the GOP is asking for a voter list of King County. I can't keep up with all the shenanigans going on in WA, but the fact the GOP is now asking for a list of names, brings a new twist to the fight.
To: kattracks
Is there a reason why they're still focusing on King County instead of trying to apply the recent WASC ruling to the other counties, even if they certified prior to the ruling?

Aside from all of that, it's coincidence the Democrats stop recounting when they come out ahead.
To: kattracks
The only thing this proves is the uselessness of voting.
I ceased voting in 1992 when I realized TPTB were gonna do whatever they wanted.

IMO, they only wanted to concentrate on King county where they had a modicum of control, and a higher probability of gleaning what they needed.
The election process in WA looks like a mess; it's really not that bad, if everyone plays by the rules.
I know many democrats who are disgusted by this as well, but they are conservative dems of the old school. I can only hope they wake up in 2006 and 2008. If they do, maybe this will have been worth it. *shrug*
The Montana SSC decision to seat Windham instead of Jore doesn't look too good, IMO, but its not getting the attention the Governors race is here.
Maybe because this appears so blatant.....

The most insane part of the Montana race is that by a judicial fiat, 6 judges decided to toss out a few votes just to end it in favor of the Democrat. Since the Montana House is split 50-50, this gives the Democrats control of the House, Senate and Governorship, because by Montana law, if the House or Senate are split down the middle, the majorityship goes toward the party of the Governor, in this case, the Democrats.
This puts the Democrats in a position to pander to the Republicans on the other side of the aisle to get what they want accomplished.
To: BigSkyFreeper
A Greg-waaah win here give the dems control of both houses and the Governorship *clutching wallet*
