Too bad she didn't land on her face, it might have improved her looks. :)

Lauren Green covered this in a news break on Fox and Friends this morning. She reported that an ambulance was called and medics on the scene stated she was intoxicated at the time.

LOL.
No, he fell off the couch, hit his head on a glass table corner, was too drunk to know how hurt he was and bled to death.

Liza was delicious in her guest turn on "Arrested Development", but she'll never live down Mark Steyn's withering take on her domestic difficulties:
Mr Gest is now suing Liza for $10 million for repeatedly beating him up during their 16-month marriage. The claim that his brain was damaged during the marriage would be more persuasive if, before it, when it was allegedly undamaged, he hadnt chosen Michael Jackson to be his best man.
Unless, of course, Liza was already beating him up during the engagement, which would explain why, standing next to Jacko in the wedding photographs, David looks like Uday and Qusays brother after being touched up by the Pentagon embalmers and put on display at the Baghdad morgue.
The plight of battered husbands is, of course, a serious issue, especially given the gender bias of modern society. But one cant help feeling Lizas ex is unlikely to be a useful role model in this regard. By his own description, his wife is an overweight, raging alcoholic. An overweight, raging alcoholic with two artificial hips whos almost a decade his senior and barely over 5 ft tall. Couldnt he have run for his life? Or, come to that, strolled for his life?
As the talk-show host Jon Stewart observed, There is no conceivable amount of money worth telling the world that you were beaten up by Liza Minnelli.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2003/10/26/do2610.xml&sSheet=/opinion/2003/10/26/ixop.html. In fact, googling on "Steyn, Minelli" is worth the effort-- she's a frequent foil for Steyn's barbs.

Strange story. How high was the bed?!? I think the question is...how high was Liza?

Headline coming soon:
"Liza Minelli falls off floor"
To: 76834
No, that was Michael Moore falling out of bed.
To: 76834
Can you imagine that cow hitting the floor? Now that you mentioned "cow"....
I suspect that it was a couple of pranksters out on the town of cow tipping.
The pranksters made the mistake.

Sobriety isn't for everyone. I have never heard that before. It sounds like it means that some people were never meant to be sober.

>on Christmas night eve, TRIO replayed an old Judy Garland Christmas special, and Judy sounded like an angel....
her last song that she sang to two little children was "over the rainbow" and I felt very sad, thinking about the joy that woman brought and is still bringing to so many of us, children and adults alike....<
I saw the TRIO special Christmas night. Judy looked pretty bombed on camera. Liza was young, vibrant, and a very good performer at that point.
Watching that show highlights the fact that money and fame can be a curse, as opposed to something to be sought after.

Well I just came over for the jokes.

Maybe she was just sitting there watching David Gest banging his boyfriend, while the wildly undulating bed just threw her off onto the floor!
