I went to Episcopal schools from nursery school through 10th 9th Grade. If I could join a traditional Episcopal church, I would (the Presbyterian church near me is hopelessly lost in a liberal pose). Unfortunately, all the tradtion is gone and I am left with nothing to attract me to these institutions. I am seriously thinkg of becoming a Catholic.
If there is a Presbyterian PCA chuch nearby go for a visit. Very conservative bible believing.
I am becoming Catholic now since my perspective on Catholic Theology has changed, but I did attend a Traditional Anglican Church for a while, and they were very reverent, using the 1928 Prayer Book. Take a look here on Freeper sionnsar's Traditional Anglican page: http://trad-anglican.faithweb.com/ you might like one of them.
You would be more than welcome to join.
Give the Mo. Synod Lutheran Church a look. I am an ex-Episcopalian who has gone through catechism and joined up, there. Impressive theology and Biblical scholarship with a liturgical service. But, be advised, not all parishes are doctrinally solid, sorry to say. Check out the WEBsite ReformationToday.tripod.com for a list of truly trustworthy parishes. You will probablhy not be able to commune without going through catechism, but Luther's Small Catechism is a real gem.
Go to the Ignatius Press website. Buy yourself a copy of the "Catechism of the Catholic Church", and while at the site, check out the myriad of books about the Church. These folks are seriously Catholic, without being overly pious.
