Macquarie penguins appear to have escaped the worst
|
An earthquake on a remote Antarctic archipelago home to 850,000 King Penguins was the strongest on earth in four years, seismologists say.
The quake hit 400km (250 miles) off the Macquarie Islands on Friday, measuring 8.1 on the Richter scale.
Penguins appear to have escaped a major disaster as the quake occurred deep under the sea, far from inhabited land.
There were no tsunamis, or large tidal waves, because the quake moved horizontally rather than vertically.
The tremors were felt in Tasmania, 1000km (600 miles) away, but because the epicentre was 10km underground, few observers noticed the initial quake.

It's Little Penguin wine:
http://www.thelittlepenguin.com. They make a few different types.
It's a cheap Australian wine that is actually pretty good. I think it's far better than the equivalent Aussie wines that go for $5.50 a bottle, like Yellow Tail. I've seen it in several liquor stores in Wisconsin, so it might be in your area.

Thousands of babies were just murdered in British abortion factories. The BBC is worried about some penguins. Two days later near Indonesia, God woke some people up -- in more ways than one. No penguin talk after the 9.0 earthquake + tsunami in the Indian Ocean.
People are also omitting to talk about the tourists in that part of world that go to Thailand for the child sex slavery business.
If I were God, I really would have dropped the hammer much harsher for what is going on. Thank God that God know best...

*groan* If you think that was bad [about the penguins and earthquake near Australia was Bush's fault], just after the Indonesian quake/tsunami, I saw a web site that claimed that US Military base Diego Garcia was flattened and this was indeed Bush's fault.
Fortunately, this liberal wackos don't know what they are talking about.
God protected Diego Garcia...
