I think J.J. must have a few extra verses in his Bible that nobody else knows about, where it says:
"Thou shalt allow the government to take the lions share of thy wealth so that it may redistribute it to the poor. Else ye be not a good person, for has not the government more wisdom of charity than even the smartest of peasants?"

Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem for the Roman census. Joseph being of the lineage of David had to go to Bethlehem to be counted. The little town was crowded and as we all know, there was no room in the inn.
It was God's plan that Jesus be born in a stable, and not Rome's economic policies.
If Jesse Jackson was half the "reverend" he claimed to be, he would be telling the truth and furthering the Gospel accordingly.

Jesse has been spouting this untruth for years. During the latter years of the Reagan administration I remember a Christmastime soundbite of JJ intoning "JEEEEEEEzusss was borrrrrrrrrrrn of a homeless fambly!" (For best effect, imagine Rush speaking this line in his Reverend Jackson voice)
This man's hypocrisy and ignorance on spiritual matters is beyond astounding.
Actually Mary was a devout Jew and stay at home mom....Joseph..was Jesus' step dad who was not only a skilled carpenter...but also an upright decent honest man...a dedicated step dad...and loved Jesus as his own...
Most of all Joseph was a dedicated husband who never abused or cheated on his wife...
Lets ask which one of these has abused his wife and kept a mistress and fathered children out of wedlock...George Bush or Jesse Jackson
Look at the lives and morals of the two men...The Reverand Jesse Jackson is a liar...and exploiter...a whore chaser...and abandoned his own family....Jackson is a horrible role model for this children...his family...his race...his so called religion and his country..
