Father Of 'Naughty' Kids Sells Their Gifts On eBay
HOUSTON -- A father of three children in the Houston area has gone from playing Santa Claus to playing the Grinch.
The man decided that his children were being naughty instead of nice -- and he's taught them a lesson by auctioning their presents on eBay.
The man, who asked the Houston Chronicle not to reveal his name, decided to sell off the presents because the youngsters had misbehaved. His children are 9, 11 and 15.
His posting on the eBay Web site says, "Bad children get no Nintendo DS. Santa will skip our house this year."
The man is offering to sell three of the wireless video game systems as well as several games.
The bidding was up to $465 as the auction wound down last night.
They are a hot ticket this year, and he'll probably get more money by selling them on e-bay.
Oooooohhhhh,
That's worse than a lump of coal....
Where was ebay when my kids were little....these kids are going to learn a life lesson......finally a parent that actually follows through on threats
That's my guess.
This guys sounds like a bastard.
(Hey, kids, gather 'round! Heywood's gotta little song for ya here!)
Oh, I just got a message from 'ol Saint Nick way up in Christmasland
And he says the toys for good girls and boys are being made as planned
There's a truck for little Billy and a dolly for Molly, dear,
But you ain't gettin' diddly squat 'cause you really messed up this year!
(No, you ain't gettin' diddly squat 'cause you really messed up this year!)
Oh, the winter fields are white with snow and the lights are shining bright
And the wee little heads tucked up in bed dream of sugar plums this night
You may dream of big red apples and candy canes so near,
But you ain't gettin' diddly squat 'cause you really messed up this year!
(No, you ain't gettin' diddly squat 'cause you really messed up this year!)
(Fa-la-la-la-you're in trouble! Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!)
When your mother asked you to wash the dishes,
Why, you said, "No no no!"
And you did not pick up your socks
So it's "que sera", horse-face!
HO-HO-HOOOOOOOOOO!
Oh, you know that Santa's watching you and he keeps a great big list
But, when I tell him the things you've done, he REALLY will be....mad!
When you sit upon his knee, he'll knock ya on your ear
'Cause you ain't gettin' diddly squat 'cause you really messed up this year!
No, you ain't gettin' diddly squaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........T!
'Cause you really messed up
Oh, you really messed up
Oh, you really messed up this year!!
Packed neatly in tins and perfect for a stocking stuffer. I was really tempted, not for the kids but there are a few adults that should be getting them.
Children, Santa Claus, and sugar - a deadly mix.
"If he is trying to teach them a lesson he could have picked other ways to do it like give the gift to a NEEDY family at this time of year."
A top of the line video game system - just what every "needy" family needs! ;)
How will they buy more games if they are so "needy"?
This guy sounds like a sadist. Coal in the stocking would have sufficed.
Good point.....my point was surely there would be a better way to punish them, but its all a moot point anyway because I am willing to bet he just used that as a ploy to sell Nintendo DS.
Charcoal is a poor man's propane.
Maybe they could light a fire under Dad.
(Contemplative Smiley.)
A few years ago my husband saw the cndy coal. He thought it would be cute to put them in the stockings with the other goodies. Naughty and nice thing. My oldest got up and saw one in his stocking, so worried, checked his sister's stocking to see if one was in there also. He threw it out because he didn't want her to see it and be sad. For some reason he wasn't as worried about his brother.
Great marketing tactic by a wholesaler!
Cute story.
