The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - A terrorist attack on a tanker loaded with liquefied natural gas could cause massive damage a third of a mile away and could send a vapor cloud billowing more than 1.5 miles, government scientists say.

With the the nation clamoring for more natural gas, policy-makers are trying to figure out how to safely import large quantities of liquefied natural gas or LNG.

I would also love to see a pinpoint map for these occurences. I went back to last thread, and found this post:

which mentioned a few incidences a few months ago, also involving green beam lasers. Something is going on here (thanks mr. obvious). One of our fellow TM'ers speculated "kidstuff", (i.e. college-age punks engaging in hightech pranks), which is one possible explanation. Some serious havoc can be wreaked by bored thrill-seeking kids, especially those who have access to family money (or even family techological equipment - read that the son/daughter of a NASA engineer, or college prof, etc.). A map might help refute/reinforce that theory.

Alternately, a map could point more toward possible AQ/terrorist sources. I have to believe that someone in our vast DHS is probably plotting each occurrence, location & timing, and trying to connect the dots right this minute. I wish there was some way to get some of this info out to the "volunteers" (i.e. TM'ers, et al), so we could chew on it and likely add some insight.

Bottom line - I think this story is significant, one that likely won't go away soon, and one that TM (once again) knew about long before anybody in the MSM said a peep about it.

The first thought your tesla toy brought to my mind was the Taser lights that are hitting the pilots eyes.

How do you suppose the disaster will effect their plans?

looks like a New Year's Eve plan.

They will have to figure it closely, as in the casinos at
Laughlin, the people are headed out the door by 10 minutes past, it always amazed me tha the party for 1,000's of people was over so quickly after the clock struck midnight.
