The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - A terrorist attack on a tanker loaded with liquefied natural gas could cause massive damage a third of a mile away and could send a vapor cloud billowing more than 1.5 miles, government scientists say.

With the the nation clamoring for more natural gas, policy-makers are trying to figure out how to safely import large quantities of liquefied natural gas or LNG.

It's going to be 78 in a few days; you'll have to move here.

There's supposed to be a news conference today. The railroad hired a company to contain the leak, finally. 5,400 will remain evacuated for another 3-7 days...they'll see how it all goes. Curfews in effect still. Roadblocks, etc.

Stories coming out of those in the crash site area. Clothes turned white. Cell phones disintigrated.

First responders watched the paint peel off their firetrucks and cars. They watched their hands blister inside the vehicles as they continued to rush to the scene. Their wedding rings turned black. I am in awe of such courage.

All these little train accidents, burnings and such make me think they are just toying with us.

Too many unexplained incidents. There have been numerous tanker truck accidents with drivers who ran from the scene, just like this one (of course we'll never learn any details about the driver):
