Hey both me and MamaDearest had a set of computer problems that forced both our machines into the shop at the same time. Neither one of us has been online since last Thursday! I just got back online. She CALLED me today from Idaho to my classroom in Miami (via my cell) to let me know the situation. So we know the alert system works. Glad nobody's been nuked so far and life continues. Funny thing we had similar problems and the costs to repair were nearly identical too! Hmmmmmm conspiracy??? LOL

While we're at it, has anybody been down with a really nasty stomach virus? It knocked me on by rear last Monday, then I found out that not only was it going around, but animals were suffering the same symptoms, especially dogs.

Thanks, Oorang. It passed quickly, so to speak, but it was bad while I had it. I thought it was food poisoning until I heard that several other people in the area had been knocked down as well.

Meantime, I'm hearing some disturbing reports about MS-13 starting to move into our area (Hampton Roads). I'm keeping my ears open for any news or developments.
