The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. |

WASHINGTON - A terrorist attack on a tanker loaded with liquefied natural gas could cause massive damage a third of a mile away and could send a vapor cloud billowing more than 1.5 miles, government scientists say. With the the nation clamoring for more natural gas, policy-makers are trying to figure out how to safely import large quantities of liquefied natural gas or LNG.

Well the house is all decorated and I am getting into a celebratory mood as I stand in my front yard.
It has been a good year and we have been blessed beyond belief. Chords of Silent Night drift over the country side while we continue to pray for Peace on Earth, Goodwill Towards Men . Unfortunately there are those in the world who's hearts are completely darkened, to whom these words mean nothing. Until the Prince of Peace returns again, we must continue to be salt and light to this world and ever vigilant.
Now it is time to become Santa's helper and get ready for the morning. Merry Christmas to all TM'rs and your families and a blessed 2005!

Merry Christmas to some of my favorite people. I'm just sitting down after a long day -- work, exercise, pub, parents, nieces and nephews, lots of people. God Bless to all.

All this handwringing over a European strike might be to throw us into another state of complacency.....which of course is where we've stayed since 2002. After the Sept 11th attacks, we were into "white knuckle" mode for a year. But now, I truly think that most of the country sheep thinks that a 911 won't ever happen again. Much less something worse.

The Joseph Goebbels Award went to the appropriate recipient, but there were oh so many runners-up. I'm sure there will be no problem naming an appropriate candidate next year for this dubious honor.

Britain freezes assets of Saudi opposition group linked to Al-Qaeda
LONDON : Britain has frozen the assets of a London-based Saudi opposition group whose head is suspected of being an associate of terrorist group Al-Qaeda, the Treasury announced.
The British action against the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia (MIRA) comes three days after Washington named its head, Saad al-Faqih, as a suspected Al-Qaeda financier.

Yup. Biased journalism is the norm, not the exception. Who'd have thought the only legacy they will ever leave is that of dishonesty, distortion of facts and forcing their skewed views and lack of ethics upon us.
