With Ohio inching toward a final recount that trimmed a few hundred votes from President Bush's six-figure margin, elections officials said electronic voting systems worked as promised. But critics were unconvinced.

With recount results reported in 86 of 88 counties Tuesday, President Bush picked up 438 votes and Sen. John Kerry gained 680, narrowing Bush's 119,000-vote lead by 242 votes, according to an Associated Press survey.

242 votes. How mush does that work out to per vote when the cost is figured in?

The Democrat Underground Loony Bin is still hard-selling the idea that Kerry will be sworn in on January 20, 2005.

I like it. It's fun to watch people in total melt-down freefall.

I want to know why is it that whenever there is a recount, the Republican victory margin always goes down (or in the case of Washington's Governor, the victory goes away).

As if I need to ask...

Freepers there is a movement afoot, to cause massive disruptions here in Washington DC on January 6th 2005, the day that Congress receives the Electoral College Votes. Far leftist groups have been calling for a day of protest and hope to draw national attention to this most ignored movement by crippling the city.

This recount and talk of Senators and Conyers challenging the electoral votes, makes the liberals look insane. I think 2004 marks the end of the democrat party as a major force in American politics. By 2006, the situation in Iraq will have improved. Iran, Syria, North Korea will be dealt with forcefully. Our economy will be booming. The new media will be even stronger than it is today. What will be left for the liberals to run on? Conspiracy theories? I say let the left act as kooky as they want. It's fun to watch and helps America out a great deal.

Hey. It's working in the Washington governor's race. Give the Dems enough recounts and they'll create enough fraudulent ballot to win...

For the total number of votes found...1,118...it cost the taxpayers of Ohio about $1300 per vote. As an Ohioan I am really ticked off!

The only things I can think of is either dem fraud and/or dem voters who don't know/can't submit their ballot properly.
