A question asked on the other thread: does this ruling open up the other counties to re-review their ballots in the same manner as King County just got permission to do? Could the other counties find overlooked irregularities the fit the WASC's ruling of today that could tilt the vote back to Rossi?

The way I understood last night's news is that gregoire was up by 8 votes without counting the ~ 700 votes.

How long before the good citizens of Washington, all 32 of them, rise up against this travesty?

LOL

But Ahem! There are more than 32 FReepers in good standing in Wasington.

Not officially. The Dems are "projecting" an 8 vote victory. The official counts can be found at www.vote.wa.gov

See, God wasn't talking about expelling them, but snuffing them out. I don't think that is necessary, we simply need to go our separate ways.

Every society eventually faces the choice to remove their liberals or face oblivion. Rome chose wrongly.

So like Lot and his family, you should move north.... up here on Sunny Camano Island perhaps. Home of the .11% property tax. Just don't look back, or you'll turn to salt.

Yes, corrupted; yes, fathered his own grandchildren. He chose to move toward Sodom when he and Abraham separated, and obviously went a step too far into Sodom and the lifestyle there. But he continued either to have faith or be covered by the protection of Abraham's faith and Abraham's relationship with him to intercede with the Lord, and that is why God sent the angels to get his family out of Sodom.

God's foreknowledge of Lot's and his daughters' future failures once they would leave Sodom did not change God's willingness to spare them to make mistakes another day.

PING!

Believe it or not, I take no pleaure in this.
It was obvious from the start that with the election that close, there was no way the Dims were going to let it slip away.

Ah, Free Will gets us into trouble all the time! It's a good thing that God's God, and that he died on the cross for us, otherwise we'd really be hosed. Especially here in the liberal Pacific Northwest! :o)

I lived in Everett for a couple of years. I hated the part I lived in, Beverly Park, but North Everett and Anthonys Woodfire are great. Plus Diamond Knott...like that part also.

I absolutely am drowning in the sea of votes washed up here in Elliott Bay. I don't know anything provable about the 320 ballots recently "found." Publius knows a lot about the particulars. Has a mind like a steel trap for the details.

"The way I understood last night's news is that gregoire was up by 8 votes without counting the ~ 700 votes."

Those 8 votes was not the final count before the 700. That was just a projected lead based on what they had counted so far.

They were doing everything to get the word out that they had won before they actually have won.

Waiting! Waiting! Waiting! King County Elections Director, Dean Logan is giving a news conferance at 3:30 PT. I wish I had cable TV :-(

Sorry Andy but Rossi lost, fair and square

Did you lose this: /sarcasm ??????

When, among other things, King Co. mails out military ballots so late there is no way they can be counted it most certainly is not fair and square

A central function of the USSC is to resolve conflicts in judicial decisions that appear in federal judicial districts. If any of this gets appealed to a federal district court and there is a conflict with decisions at that level, I think the USSC would be very willing to step into it.

Under something called the Rooker-Feldman doctrine, a civil case that was heard in a state court cannot be appealed to any federal court but the Supreme Court. So this decision is final unless the Supreme Court agrees to grant certiorari.
