Bernard Kerik has admitted to having sexual relations with a female corrections officer while serving as first deputy commissioner of the department.

Kerik was forced to answer questions about his steamy romance with correction worker Janet Pinero in sworn testimony Dec. 9, responding to a civil-rights lawsuit filed against him and the city.

If Kerik was a rat this would have made him more popular with rats and moderates. The female coerections officer would get a layout in Penthouse and maybe host SNL. Republicans step down when they get found out. rats revel in it.

I'll forgive him of everything, should he share his "diet" secretes.

It's new york city politics. We play for keeps. I'm hoping for something involving either parking meters or a Union. But that's just because I get nostalgic around this time of year.

I think it's more than that. I believe that it was a trial run of the librats new strategy: "Let's make everything Bush touches turn to sh*t."

It'll happen with others with even more ferocity, because they now have it set into their minds that it works.

And, with luck, their incompetence will prevail, they'll skroo something up while going after their next target, and the media will have yet another bleeding gash in their credibility.

Because we all know that they'll run with whatever the left dreams up.

Bernie's blood was definitely busy elsewhere and not in his brain.

It is nothing worse than what happened during every single NYS & NYC administration since Tammeny Hall. Come on folks, get real!

New? Heck, that's been going on for years. Kerik was a bad pick, and was ripe for the kicking. Happens.

At the risk of sounding trivial (no thanks to little tommy daschle), all I can say about Kerik is that I'm 'deeply disappointed'...and more than a little pissed at him for not fessing up to the problems in his past to Bush before the Homeland Security announcement. To those responsible for vetting/ overseeing the vetting, I sincerely hope they are carrying walking papers...this sort of sloppiness is not to be tolerated.

You got that right.

Tammany is probably the most egregious example of government gone wildly corrupt except maybe for the commie systems of the past and present.
