Once you hit that post button, your post is sent to the FR server, not when you see the screen change. Your computer can crash on second afterward and the bits would still be traveling over the lines.
All you have to do is be sure you clicked the button (in IE a dotted line box will surround the button) then you can go about your business. Elvis has left the building.
