Or perhaps the parathyroid gland was put into humans in order to mislead scientists and mankind as a whole by...Satan! ;-)

Just goes to show how great God is. He created reusable code before man created the computer.

Interesting thought, and it makes a great deal of sense, and I'm wondering what thoughts there might be on the development of lungs.

I knew a girl in high school who claimed she was born with gills. She did smell kinda fishy.

Parathyroid glands come from gills, which is why they aren't next to your kidneys Ping!

Yep. Was watching a nature show the other day about mountain lions and the moderator said that "the mountain lion's mouth evolved to be a perfect fit for a deer's neck". This explains all the fossils of the extinct small-mouthed mountain lion, and the extinct large mouth mountain lion.(/sarcasm off)

And surely there is a "researcher" somewhere who claims human male genitalia has "evolved" from the banana plant family...

Humans are suckers for a good story. So much so that the void of a good story will be filled by a bad one.. Some humans never grow up.. and lacking answers will grasp at straws to fill their story quota.. SOooo, they invented psuedo science.. to force the most loved storys to a logical end, at least a reasonable end.. which they dress up very professionally for to appear very serious. With eye glasses and everything..

Humans.!.. (Eddie Murphy laugh)

"probably evolved "

"suggest"

"it is reasonable to suggest"

"This interpretation ..."

 "contain many similarities"

"suggests"

Aahhhh... the language of hard scientific proof resonates with
truthfulness. Pity those poor creationists who just believe what
they want to believe!

Several years ago, I noticed that one of my adult students had a very swollen lump on her neck. She told me that, according to the doctors, an 'undisolved' gill from her fetal stage of development, had remained in her system. She underwent surgery, the 'gill' was removed and the swelling disappeared.

I'm confident there is a better, albeit more technical, explanation for this condition. That is how she explained it to me. Don't know how common is this condition.
