While some think Giuliani could still be a contender in four years, others believe Rove and Bush have one man in mind for the Oval Office: brother Jeb Bush.

This is too much for me. Jeb has repeatedly said he is not interested. Rove is smart enough to know that Jeb would have a VERY hard time winning in 2008. IF the Republican nominee loses in 2008, I would look for Jeb to run in 2012. But, if the '08 nominee wins, the next time you'll have a Bush running for the highest office in the land will be 2024 when the nation will be singing the praises of "P for President!"

Exactly. Jeb is the "spare tire".

I actually like Jeb better than his brother, and would love to see this country finally have a true Catholic president. But the idea of three Bush presidencies in 20 years is more than a bit creepy.

Probably a Staussian play on the part of Jeb Bush. say "I won't run" to see who sticks their head out and have KR play them like a fiddle. Rudy is good but I don't think he is ready for prime time. JB on the other hand can be KR choice for the WH in 08. Watch W and KR set the trap for Hillary Clinton before 08.

If Jeb doesn't want to run for President so be it. The job isn't for everyone. However, what I cannot see is the true believers of this party throwing him overboard because of his familial relationships. We don't have a dynasty in this country. The Bushes stand for election like everyone else. They win (like last month) and they lose (like 92). Jeb will do the same in 08...if he elects to run.

If he does run, I will be voting for him based on his record as governor of the 4th largest state in the country. Florida is a must win for Republicans, if wewant to hang on to our tenous electoral college majority.

Jeb is clearly the best candidate of a ho-hum field.
