Jean Torkelson of the RMN confirms in an article this morning what Free Republic folks knew last week: the Downtown Denver Partnership will allow Christian themes on floats at the 2005 Parade of Lights.
Odd, but Jean forgot to mention that we knew this last week and that my audience led the charge to get this fixed, and she forgot to mention the DDP's president called me last week to surrender.
The pendulum is swinging back.
Another step forward to putting 'Christ' back into Christmas.
Just so folks here at FreeRepublic know you can listen to a retired Marine, Gunny Bob Newman, who has his talk show on 850am KOA from 7pm to 10pm here in Colorado. (6pm to 9pm for those of you in Rio Linda) The show is available on-line at www.850koa.com each night M-F.
It will be curious to see if Gunny Bob first becomes a nationally syndicated talk show host or Govermor of Colorado in 2006.
Heck, he's a Marine, he can do both. ;)
Proud to serve my talk show host leader here in Colorado by encouraging change through grass roots.
Hi Gunny!
Wow, my favorite local talk guy belongs to FR! I love the show but I'd love it more if it was longer.
