Sounds good to me! If the Kurds become too much of a force in Iraq, then Turkey will get involved. Hell, Turkey is in part to blame for the situation we are in now.

Let's hope its a case of the (moronic) media confusing 'casualty' with 'fatality'. no... let's hope it's not... right? casualties can be injuries or deaths; but fatalities are always deaths

I have heard that the only difference between the men and women in Iraq was that the women can't be given combat pay. They are all in a combat area. Prayers.

They are all in a combat area. Yes. I agree with that. The distinction with this attack, however, was that it occurred in an area where we have a newer operation/offensive. That's what I meant.
Yes, of course, they are all in hostile areas.

I'm thinkin' the Green Zone isn't such a hot idea at this time. Is there a better way to protect our beloved troops?

I was referring to the "10 deaths" quote I saw, hoping it was 10 casualties misreported as 10 fatalities.

I think it was an inside job too. Iraqis or their families should they blow themselves up, get paid for killing Americans. Remember how Atta and company kept a low profile and were friendly while they were in Florida learning to fly planes into buildings.
It's the same over there. It makes me shudder and why can't we stop mixing Iraqis with our forces on our bases for now? Must we rely upon them or are they allowed near our troops as a politically correct gesture??? Is that possible?
