Probably all in San Francisco or maybe Canada. If that's the case then 56% seems awful low.

Just took me to some sort of login page. No story there, but if you got a good link to post, then by all means.

The election did turn on Iraq/WOTDarn. I thought FR was replete with posters saying the election turned on "moral values." Guess the answer depends upon what situation they are answering or squirming to answer.
By the way, the "Iraq/WOT" concatenation is what is becoming unravelled in the public's mind, hence a decline since the election.

Yet it only took one Moderator to judge your post as a mistake.

Try bugmenot.com to bypass their registration page. After I did that, they apparently put a cookie on my computer. It says my user name is "Hubba"! LOL

On your link, right click on "Properties" and you will see the problem with it -- for some reason the FR URL got put ahead of the correct link.

Very astute post.
An excellent treatise on the Copperheads and the legal implications of that situation is written in
The Army of the Potomac, by Bruce Canton.
I still lean towards the theory that McClellan was removed just when he as beginning to get his legs.
And I think that he could have ended the war 2 years sooner.
But note that his run for POTUS was soundly voted against by those same veterans that loved him.
It would have also been a gamble to keep him, given his record.
My favorite quote from that part on the Copperheads is: "One of the most real aspects of any situation is what those people involved in that situation think about it."
Or, in other words, perception shapes the course of history..
>The problem with the MSM today is they won't call a victory a victory, but tell the people its a defeat
Yes. Also, I would state that the major problem is that no one is really teaching history, especially American history.
They are too busy with diversity, multi-cultural tolerance training, and feel good nonsense...
BTW, great post, and Merry Christmas!
