I am sad to report that Freeper Militiaman7 passed away this morning from cancer.
He loved FreeRepublic and was a local leader of FREEPS in the Roanoke, VA area. He had a FreeRepublic Banner he brought to all our Freeps.
He was a disabled veteran who served his country. We will miss his quick sense of humor and his love for America and FreeRepublic.
I have no further information at this time.

Another deserving candidate fer the FReeper Tribute Wall, my FRiend...MUD
He was a good man and a true Conservative. He's gone to a better place.
There surely must be a very special place in heaven for brave and courageous veterans. May God Bless him.
Rest In Peace!!!!!
A great loss for us but a big gain for Heaven. May the Lord comfort his loved ones.
So true, Mud.
I'm sorry to hear this. My sympathies to his family.
May the Lord be watching over his soul, and may his family treasure the time they had with him.
God Bless him. Salute to a fellow Vet and DAV. May he rest in peace.
RIP Good Soldier.
May God in His infinite goodness comfort the family.
MM7 will be missed.
Rest in Peace, soldier.
Very nice and truly appropriate.

Dear Jonathan, I am getting here late. but I do want to extend to you my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. There is never a good time to say good bye to parents (especially YOUNG ones.. and he is young ) but during the holidays there is the extra element of grief. Please tell your other family that your dad was well loved & respected here --and I think that you already knew that. God Bless you all during this difficult time.
