NAPLES, Italy, Dec. 17 (Reuters) - Vincenzo Mazzarella, the head of a Naples crime gang, was arrested Friday at Euro Disney, near Paris, after a monthlong manhunt, the Italian police said.
The arrest, by French police officers, came during a separate mob sweep in Italy that resulted in 11 arrests and the confiscation of assets worth more than $1.3 million, the authorities said. Naples has been gripped by mob violence since October, with more than two dozen people killed.
Mr. Mazzarella, 48, was described by the police as one of the most important leaders of the Camorra, a Naples gang similar to the Mafia. He is accused of mob association and money laundering.
The others arrested in Naples on Friday, said to be part of the Pozzuoli gang, were charged with crimes that included extortion, falsification of documents and theft.

The arrest, by French police officers...I wonder if we'll get to see the followup article where they explain that the mistaken suspect was really "Bob Mazzarella, Insurance salesman from Jersey"...

These guys are based in Naples, not Sicily.
See Naples and die!

I thought the mafia did not exist??????
To: Pharmboy
The Mafia (la cosa nostra) is Sicilian.
La Camorra is Neopolitan.
n'drangheta is Calabrese.
The word "MAFIA" stands for:
Morte Alla Francia Italia Aller
(Death to France is Italy's Cry!)

The MAFIA has an interesting history... even in America. A lot of people think that Al Capone was a big boss of the MAFIA. He was not. He only ran Chicago.
The real orders came from New York... from the Sicilians. You see, Al Capone was a Neopolitan (from Naples). The fact is, that Al Capone couldn't shoot anybody without approval from the Sicilians.
He miscalculated at the time of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. His popularity plummeted, and he made Bugsy Malone a hero.
Malone deserved whatever he got after brazenly shooting Capone's right hand man right out in his front yard with his family in the house. St. Valentines was payback. Fortunately for Malone, he was across the street having a coffee, and lived to bootleg another day.

I don't exactly picture Signor Mazzarella or any other member of La Camorra on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

he always gets scared when the ghost sits next to him on the Haunted Mansion ride. "I love-a dis-a place...I hadda to come-a back." Ahh, but in Paris, its called "the phantom mansion"

no prob. I take a little heat from some people for enjoying Disney so much(e.g. the "swirling vortex of evil" crowd) And I agree with the surviving Disney family members that Eisner is a big part of the problem. But the experience that I have had at WDW is nothing short of wonderful(we go every other year). I am not including the questionable business decisions(pixar), or the content from one of its subsidiaries(miramax). I am speaking of old fashioned, Disney magic as done in the theme parks in California, florida, Japan and (unfortunately) Paris, too. Disney Paris' "phantom manor" is probably the best "dark ride" in the business. (too bad nobody goes there)
