Well, if it wasn't GWB, they would have had to give it to New Media or the Republican Activists. I guess Time can swallow hard and name GWB if the alternative is admitting a bunch of Freepers in pajamas and Jesusland Activists wiped the floor with the MSM this year.

It may not be on the cover, but I'd be willing to bet that a picture of him scowling during the first Kerry debate will be in the story.

Some of Time's previous "Man of the Year" selections have been Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Ayatollah Khomeini. This is no honor that Slime Magazine has planned. Count on it.

"Composite photo of white angry male, holding a Bible (with his G.E.D. stuck inside the cover), missing front teeth, wearing a "Budweiser #8" jacket, 9MM stuck inside his belt, standing in front of his pickup truck with a dead deer on the hood.
Wow, that sounds just like all of us, don't you think?"

Not quite: crouched posture, flea-infested dirty and soiled fur loincloth, receding forehead with jutting lower jaw of gigantic proportions, a heavy stick or (for REALLY advanced elite) stone ax... And in the background Al Gore inventing the fire-drill, with some crude sketches on the rock wall pertaining to his patent on the wheel.

If this happens the liberals will be stricken with delusional epileptic fits -the only thing intelligible coming from their mouths; that able to be deciphered by vegetarian spittle interpreters...

BUSH [AND ROVE?]

Drudge doesn't seem to be certain of this. But it would be one way to play it without giving Bush any real credit. How the brilliant evil genius Karl Rove and his Sock Puppet, Mini-ME, outfoxed the nice but too naive John Kerry.

Maybe they fold up like little girlie-men again like the time when Rush Limbaugh should have been man-of-the-year and the went with "The Pope" (although he did nothing noteworthy)

Well, and what is the significance and meaning of it? Or, more to the point, is there any significance or meaning?

Apparently not.

In fairness, Lindbergh made amends later by supporting the war effort, including flying many dangerous combat missions in the Pacific.
