I wanted to strangle the decorator that did the bedroom in cardboard. Cardboard furniture. Cardboard for wallpaper. (If she'd done that to my room, I probably would have strangled her.) ;)

And after having to re-set the clock, reporting in Drive-by Mode from the Haunted Armory, it's Day 18 of Sarge's Most Excellent Adventure!
Sarge was in Cincinatti all yesterday and this morning, at the Recruiter Conference and Awards Banquet. All sorts of brand-new recruiter stuff was dished out, and the area recruiters were congratulated for hitting all their marks last year.
Sarge was there in his formals, and yes, there ARE pics coming, as soon as they get them...
Today, it's all a matter of errands and getting the last few things ready for the Great Xmas Trip to PA. The Home Detachment rolls out Saturday, and arrives in The Old Homestead sometime after breakfast on Sunday, and Pop, Momma, Wakeupandvote, and all the rest of the family - except for Demented Sis - will be there.
On the Green-suit News: there are no real changes to the last schedule. Muster Day is still 03 JAN, and the town's hosting a Farewell shindig at the local firehouse on the 5th. Other than that....
Sarge will be in the area later tonight, so Let's Have Fun!
