I never thought I would write the following words, but: God bless Hillary Clinton. Though her motives are cynical, their effects may well be vital both to our national security and to our sovereign responsibility to control our borders. Republican presidents and congressional leaders have for years effortlessly and painlessly given short shrift to conservative Republican congressmen calling to secure our borders and end massive illegal immigration. But they ignore Hillary at their mortal peril. Immigration and border legislation in 2005 is likely to be the last chance the Republicans have to put their stamp on those issues. Their failure to do so would: 1) give Hillary three years to champion such Buchananite reform; 2) visibly split the Republican Party on the issue; 3) thereby undercut the Republican unity President Bush will need to pass his Social Security and Tax reforms, and 4) set up Hillary to patch together an unlikely, but formidable, electoral coalition of disenchanted border-security Republicans and main street Democrats for the 2008 campaign. As Hillary knows better than most, politics makes strange bedfellows.

She'll do anything to position herself for a win in '08. And more importantly, she knows the masses have short memories. She scares the hell out of me and is the very best at triangulating issues.
I believe SassySigster already answered your question on how she feels about the POS. I hate her too! What about you? I think all, if not the majority of the freepers hate the, "She Beast." I heard an old saying which goes like this, "It would be better to have a lobotomy and thought to be insane than to become a democrat and remove all doubt." NSNR
Don't worry, it just that demo-commie happy talk after toking on the (msm, Crack Pipe).
The (POS) will run, but lose in the end. Your assertion spells out the true scenario on her viablity.
However, if she DOES run, I think that she doesn't have a snowball's chance. Figure that Lazio ran against her in 2000. He came to the election a year late, nobody knew who he was, he was running in arguably one of the more liberal states in the union, and his only platform was "Vote for me because I'm not her!"
I think he wound up with 45% of the vote. Not too shabby.
I agree 100% and Rudy will stomp a mud puddle in Shrill's butt and walk it dry.
Had a republican run in this last election Kerry probably would have won.
The Bushies will have kept the socialists(Dems) out of the white house for 8 years , and for that I am grateful. - Tom
I didn't say that. The Republicans are inept and gutless when it comes to standing up to the Socialists(Dems)and the Lamestream press. It takes the Bushies to play hardball with them.
Here is an excerpt from a thread I started on FR a year ago._ Tom
If only the Republicans werent so stupid and politically inept, and would stand up to the Socialists who are ruining our country.
The good news for the gutless inept Republicans is the Clinton haters, the pro Bushies and ex-democrats (like myself) have been united against the Socialists and Clintonistas because of their anti- Americanism and shenanigans. The Republicans are presently in charge of the House, Senate and Governorships - no thanks to the political acumen of the Republicans. The Bushies have the Presidency.
The Bushies didnt repeat Ross Perots very expensive mistake. They used the Republican Party ladder to get to the top. Actually fooling Republicans isnt very difficult.
The Bushies push their agenda, which leaves the Republicans confused. For example: Some Republicans are totally bewildered by Bushs not securing our border with Mexico, and allowing thousands of illegals to cross every day. And the President making stupid statements like Islam is a religion of peace or we worship the same God. A major example is the Bushies incredible socialistic Medicare spending bill just passed, that robs the young to pay for the olds medical bills. Well if you think the Bushies are Republicans you are bound to be confused.
Well, to quickly answer your question, ping to 75.
But as to how I feel about Hitlary, expanded version:
1) She should never be in the White House again unless the government decides to put a jail in the basement.
2) She SHOULD run for President, for the same reasons that Janet Reno needed to run for Governor in Florida--so that men can vote against her 100%, and women who have a brain can vote against her and prove it. Anyone who declares for that witch is unquestionably unthinking. She could tell me she has adopted the GOP platform and wants to cut government 80%, and I still wouldn't trust her to mail a letter for me, let alone run the country for all of us.
3) If she wins the Presidency, this country is going straight to hell. I am already making sure I am not dependent upon it. That she wins would ensure I likely don't return to it, either.
4) If she wins and the country fractures as a result (which is damn likely if she wins, because I don't see American men putting up with a dangerous bitch like that for very long), I'll try and keep y'all up to date on where in the South we've established an FR Outpost.
And in NY, too, which is a pretty liberal state...okay, it's a pretty liberal CITY, but the votes from that city and Ithaca are about enough to put in a Senator.
I am in agreement that she will lose if she runs. I bet she's on the ticket with McCain. :(
Thank you for the response. I will add very clear, consise and to the point. A big (Hell Yea) from Alabama.
You're right about the state being conservative......too bad that there are so many votes in the city. I think that it's changing, though. I've been spending a lot of time there on business. Never seen so many American Flags out. Was also there during Fleet Week. I don't think that the Sailors and Marines paid for a single meal, or drink, while they were in port. Of course, that's exactly as it should be.......
Heart of Dixie BUMP!
As a Decatur-born Crimson Tide lover from the cradle, I gotta add a big "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAW!" to your "Hell Yea!"
I scared the Yankee out of my ex moving back south from Denver. We crossed the Missouri border, and I let fly with a rebel yell that made her cat just about fall off the dash--and I think she peed herself. I'll never understand why there are so many who think that the South won't rise again. It already has. :)
While Blankley nails the GOP on their lame do-nothing immigration policies, Hitlery is merely floating her "Buchananite reform" for the polls.
IF it gave her appreciable movement for the election, she might run on it, though NEVER implimented it in any case because she is a LIAR.
I honestly think that it would take another attack on NYC for NYC to become conservative. And it'd have to be a nuke. Those people are liberal enough to think flying a flag is all you have to do to make a place free. I can hear them responding now: "Hey, it worked for Iwo Jima!"
Considering the stats of 9 million against 21 million I think the South held it's own + in the civil war(Northern Aggression) We just ran out of time, but I wish it had never occurred. There is no place like, "Sweet Home Alabama." I will add that the South is the world's best kept secret. Take care my friend and have a Merry Christmas + a Happy New Year.NSNR (HOD) bump, back at you.
Hillary can run but she can't hide from her Senate record on immigration reform!

(Hillary Clinton gets F- grade on reducing immigration!)
Thank you so much for this. Please, please everyone. It's time to put the Dem/Rep thing to rest. This is our nation's greatest threat. It can be fixed! This is the issue that politcians avoid, and if Hillary will work on it, have at it. This is the issue we all need to support.
