Cut down in her prime. Smoking will do that to you. :-)

Wonder how long she would have lived if she didn't smoke!

Mrs. Castanza: "How old would Aunt Marie be had she not smoked all those fags?"
Mr. Castanza: "She never would've made it."

Amazing. I see one elderly woman who has smoked since age 13, still puffing at 80 with no problems.
You have to wonder about the genetics at that point.

I knew an old man 90 who used to say "When I die people will say Cigars and Booze killed that old man". They did too he got drunk one night and went to bed with a cigar and went to sleep. The cigar set the bed on fire and he died in the fire.

Yes, there are statistical outliers. In other news, a man put one bullet in a revolver, put the gun to his head, pulled the trigger, and lived.

I have always despised the saccharine, migraine-inducing term "ciggie." Unnngh.

She smoked right up to the end, having her last cigarette just two days before her death.
Um, two days isn't right before. Two minutes, now . . .

So the moral of this story is...
Eat, drink, smoke, be merry...
We're all going to die of something someday anyway...and most of us have no idea when.
Live it up!

You don't inhale cigar smoke. You puff :-) My father died when he was almost 80 not from cancer but chemotherapy!

That's impossible. Everyone knows that exposure to even second hand smoke within 100 square feet of the smoker outdoors on a windy day will kill a person within weeks. Those very convincing and truthful commercials told me so.
