"Cut down in her prime. Smoking will do that to you. :-)"That's right ... and just in time too.
Now we'll all be able to breath easier. ;)

Absolutely. She's been a menace to society for 90 years.

"Absolutely. She's been a menace to society for 90 years."To top that ... they cremated her!
Don't these people realize that they put all that smoke in the air?
No consideration for we, the living, or those little creepy, crawling underground critters. ;)

Just a guess but she probably would not have made it to collect SS.

You should have seen the most beautiful display I saw at the funeral of the father of a co-worker of mine. The Boy Scout insignia, perfectly done in black & white, her dad was very active with Scouting his whole life. It was like something out of the Rose Bowl parade, which I will hopefully be happily watching in a few weeks.
That is one of my dreams, to see that parade live. The things folks do with flowers is just amazing to me.

Mrs. Castanza: "How old would Aunt Marie be had she not smoked all those fags?"
Mr. Castanza: "She never would've made it."
To: Stoat
Amazing. I see one elderly woman who has smoked since age 13, still puffing at 80 with no problems.
You have to wonder about the genetics at that point.

Well, she did it her way. May she rest in peace.

I knew an old man 90 who used to say "When I die people will say Cigars and Booze killed that old man". They did too he got drunk one night and went to bed with a cigar and went to sleep. The cigar set the bed on fire and he died in the fire.

Yes, there are statistical outliers. In other news, a man put one bullet in a revolver, put the gun to his head, pulled the trigger, and lived.

Another needless smoking death. Stop the insanity! Are the Smoke Gnatzies on this yet? She was lucky to live in a nursing home that allowed smoking. The AARP (barf) has been trying to stop smoking in all nursing homes around the US. Poor old souls have so little, and the anti's even want to take the pleasure of smoking from them. I sure hope "I" never have to go to a home!
