It's not that I hate watching them. So many things go through my mind. First, why do some people become so big with so little talent, and others with more talent...nothing. I also wonder why Nick Lachey agreed to do all these bizarre things, like this show and those insipid variety shows. Doesn't he know he is becomming a laughing stock? The difference with Sonny and Cher is that, as Cher said, Sonny ALLOWED himself to be the foil, the jester...but he was in charge. Everyone knows that Jessica's Father, (a Minister, I just learned) calls the shots.
Jessica Simpson is gorgeous. Flawless, and she can carry a tune. It really is hard to take your eyes off of her.
It's just why do we care about these people? Why? I don't know. Why do I buy the Enquirer? I DON'T KNOW! Why do waste a minute wondering why in the world Jennifer Anniston hasn't had a baby with Mr. Pitt...I DON'T KNOW!

I really didn't mean to cause any damage, sorry. It's just that I am hopelessly counter-culture, watch almost no TV except for the Food Channel (Giada!, pant!, sweat!) and listen to the radio very selectively.
So who was it, already?!? (Help an old man out!)

I watchedJessica because I like torturing myself about my appearance I don't have to torture myself about my appearance. Hell, I got people waiting in line to do that.

Oh, Yeah! I remember them! Their lead singer was sort of like Blondie, except ostensibly male and now dead.

Their lead singer was sort of like Blondie, Err...uh...*wisps of smoke curling out of ears*...bffft!
except ostensibly male and now dead.
Yeah, it sucked when he off'd himself. There were rumors that he was a gasper, but those were quickly squashed.

Auto-erotic asphyxiation. It was ruled a suicide. I'm inclined to side with that.
Kevin Gilbert, on the other hand, died as a direct result of being a gasper.

It was ruled a suicide.I googled it and found it is a matter of dispute. I do not know, nor do I wish to delve deeply to find out.

Having seen the first six episodes - they may be boring but they're also s normal and funny couple. A heartfelt tribute to true love. And unlike many celebrities you meet, they're fairly unpretentious and not full of it. Good show.

You can't tell me that Meet Your New Mommy (or whatever they call it) isn't compelling TV! I guess I'm not watching enough TV. I thought it was "Meet Your Two New Mommies."
