LOS ANGELES -- A federal judge said Monday that she will extend her order prohibiting the city of Redondo Beach from arresting day laborers for violating a local ordinance against soliciting work in public.
U.S. District Judge Consuelo Marshall, who last week issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting enforcement, said she would issue a preliminary injunction against Redondo Beach, saying there are "serious questions" about whether the city's day laborer ordinance is constitutional.
Her ruling means the city will no longer be able to arrest laborers until a lawsuit challenging the law is resolved.
Redondo Beach City Attorney Jerry Goddard said he would appeal the ruling, which he said contradicts an earlier federal court decision on the issue.

Gee, where was this judge when the Grapes of Wrath thing was going on?
She would probably have a different opinion if this was happening in her neighborhood. You can bet she lives either in a high-rise or a gated community. Another judge does her best to make life miserable for the law-abiding.
She maybe afraid that her house keeper will be arrested. Beside what is stopping the federal goverment or the state from doing "sweeps".
Judicial tyrrany rears its ugly head again. Screw the people and their laws!
I have updated my FMCDH (From My Cold Dead Hands) sign-off with the addition of (BITS).....Blood In The Streets, which I foresee coming soon, due to the enormous increase of the Marxist progressive movement being shoved down the throat of this failing REPUBLIC through the Judicial tyranny of fiat law, the passing of unconstitutional laws by the Legislative and Executive branches of our government and the enormous tax burden placed upon the average American to support unconstitutional programs put forth by Marxist ideology.

You must be kidding.

Mr. Fox: Take your people back.
Screw what the plebes want. We judges know what's best.
(And besides, my kids go to private school, and don't have to sit in classes of 35 kids, with 15 illiterate illegals.)
