It sure didn't take McCAin very long to revert back to Bush-bashing - I'm ashamed that he's my senator (no, I didn't vote for him either!)

Okay, since we're discussing "confidence", let's start a very public conversation about how much confidence conservatives have in McCain. We've needed to have that one for a long time. Thanks for bringing it up, John!

I have no confidence in McCain.

The feeling is quite mutual.

This will lead every single news show tonight and be headlines everywhere Tuesday.

Have to make sure that bastard doesn't get anywhere near the nomination in 4 years.

I think it's Rummy's stuttering that did it for him. Rumsfeld could work on a little self confidence. However, I have confidence in him.

That actually might've stung a bit, coming from a Republican. :)

Let me clarify. I have confidence in Rumsfeld, not McCain. McCain could barely make himself endorse Bush this election.

Read American Soldier by Gen. Tommy Franks, it gives insight on the dynamics between Rumsfeld and military leaders, administration and anyone else coming into contact with him, interesting man. I don't think he lacks in confidence but he certainly operates at FULL SPEED AHEAD!

McCain is a joke. War Hero? He got his ass shot down, and is culpable in the destruction of 4 other navy jets. And his managerial ability. He's been on the public teat his whole life.
