Tell the fat lady to sing a little louder, here in Pittsburgh, the liberal news media can't hear her. They're still pushing the story about Kerry asking for an investigation into the 92,000 Ohio ballots.

There has been no recount in Ohio. By law, the original counting process in Ohio is so painstaking that there is no hope of changing 117,000 votes -- the President's current lead.

The initial vote is not certified until all the absentee, all the provisional, and all the original ballots are checked according to prescribed legal standards for what constitutes a valid ballot. They have it defined in law down to exactly how many points of contact a chad must have to be considered a valid vote. PLUS: every county elections board is 2+2 repubs/dems. In other words, at least one of the repubs has to vote with both dems to change a vote on any single ballot or to validate a new vote on any rejected ballot.

There are not 117,000 votes that are going to be found in this state. It's simply not going to happen.

Now they may be going after some of the 62,000 absentee ballots and trying to match them with the voter rolls, according to the story I saw this morning..

And on this same Monday, the Supreme Court of the Very Confused State of Washington will meet to hear oral arguments concerning the democrats' attempt to wrest victory from the twice-certified Republican candidate for governor.

What's the margin now, something like 40 votes overall?

Too funny reading their posts. They're counting on Conyers pretend hearing this weekend to advance their cause.

You gotta be sh!ttin' me?! Didn't Conyers just have a hearing like 2 weeks ago? He's having another one? Sheesh, these people. Will they hold another one after this 2nd one, and yet another after that, and so on and so forth . . . ??? They really need to be committed to an insane asylum.

If there are more absentee ballots than there are eligible absentee voters, one guess as to who those ballots will favor.

Jesse("knock 'em up)Jackson will move on after today's grand standing. There is more money to be made elsewhere.

It wll still be a while before his stench is no longer detectable after he slithers off.
