No mention of Daschle's leading the unconstitutional filibuster against judicial nominees. In fact the word 'filibuster' appears nowhere in this article. The article just throws in that Daschle 'frequently clashed' with President Bush over judicial nominations.
Also, no mention by The Washington Post that Daschle was exposed this fall as having fraudulently filed for the District of Columbia's Homestead Tax break, meant for primary residences for citizens of D.C.

Daschle, 57, led the Senate Democrats through a tumultuous decade....
======
Dash-hole DID NOT LEAD anyone or anything, other than obstructionism, outright lying, filibustering, and the generation and support of anything that made Bush look like the leader he is. Thank God this maggot is gone. And, of course he was fully supported by the leftist MSM.

"But Daschle and Lott believed that conservative House Republicans had gone too far by impeaching the president for essentially lying about his affair in a civil proceeding, and they worked successfully behind the scenes to avert a conviction."
That pretty much sums it all up. Disgusting.

From the WP article: "As a relatively junior member when he succeeded Mitchell as Democratic leader in January 1995,
the boyish-looking Daschle was easy to underestimate."
Is "boyish-looking" code for something?

Rarely was the Republic in greater danger, than when both Dasshole and Lott were "in power"...

I'm shocked. Shocked to find out that he is not going back to Aberdeen, South Dakota to continue his career in helping out the people of that great state.
