The left didn't like this man from the get go, I guess he was to much an embodiment of someone with some real balls(metaphorically speaking). Further showing how the left is the fifth column in our country.
To: Jeff Head
Hmm. Well at least he dropped out let the White House know instead of having embarrasing stuff come out in a confirmation hearing.

GWB is supposed to run a "tight ship" and a highly disciplined operation. One would think that before he goes public with Kerik's (or any other) name, the nominee gets a 54-points full cavity check; thus reading about the surprise appearance of questionable household employee is rather strange; as a pretext some sudden health problems would have sounded more innocuous.

I hope Bush throws some political capital around and ask Mr. Kerik back and the senate to confirm. The nation should not be deprived of his leadership just because of his nanny's taxes.

Wouldn't an illegal housekeeper/nanny be a plus nowadays?

That just gives me a case of the red A$$! He appeared to be a guy that wouldn't take crap from anyone and would have been a good fit for the job. Probably in desperate need of sensitivity training.

How IRONIC that an imminently qualified man is KO'd for the Head of HOMELAND SECURITY, by the MOST obvious flaw in the Homeland Security of the United States...... "Illegal Immigration"... and the fact that it is looked upon as something necessary and encouraged rather than something ILLEGAL and punishable.

Hmm, I thought everyone had an illegal immigrant baby sitter, house cleaner, landscapper, cook, and balls scratcher that were payed under the table.
Now I'll give Kerik the benefit of the doubt but I'm not liking the near slavery system we have here. Slaves can eventually revolt and its not like they don't want "their territories" back.
To: Jeff Head
I thought employing illegals was fashionable these days. It's just another job Americans won't do for 1.99 an hour.
To: Jeff Head
Losing a good one IMHO.

Wonder if this is part of a grander plan? I can't believe that Bush, Rove, et al didn't know this through their vetting process.
Heard that Clinton nominated two AGs that went down in flames so that anyone who didn't have nanny problems would be a shoe-in. Then along comes Janet Reno who he wanted all along and who looked like a saint because she didn't have an illegal nanny.

Kerik had earned $6.2 million by exercising stock options he received from Taser International, which did lucrative business with the Department of Homeland Security,The Halliburton Syndrome.
