Pres. Bush's lead over Kerry is now 3,011,000 votes. The lower Bush margin is largely due to CA where Kerry has gained a net of 212,000 votes in the counting of more than 2.5 million absentee votes. Kerry also picked up more than 100,000 net votes in NY State. Below is the current Bush/Kerry popular vote total by state. Including third parties, the national popular vote count has easily exceeded 122 million.

Pres. Bush Sen. Kerry

62 million votes for Dubya and incredible voter turn out. Dubya has a mandate. Everybody knows this but the rats. The rats did everything they could to lie cheat and steal. They lost. The lost BIG TIME!

Remember how the day after the election some sleazoid leftist British newspaper (yes, I'm being redundant here) wondered "How can 59 miilion people be so dumb?" Now that Kerry's vote has reached 59 million, I see the answer to their question.

And still the libs cling to the "hope" that something will happen with the votes in Ohio to give the election to Kerry.

They really need to just get over it.

For those of you who are downplaying Pres. Bush's record vote total, I suggest you compare 2004 to 1996. Just eight years ago, Bill Clinton received only 1% less of the popular vote than Pres. Bush, yet Pres. Bush has received 15 million more votes than Clinton in 1996!! That puts Pres. Bush's awesome accomplishment in perspective!

If Kerry had been elected and thank god he was not he would have been the first communist elected as president of our great nation.

Uh oh... there will now be more gnashing of teeth by the liberals. Of course, that means dentists will start to see an increase in income, so all is not lost ;)

OH 2,858,727 2,739,952
that's a difference of 118,775. This means a swing of 59,388 votes in Ohio would've meant president sKerry! /shudder
And you can bet the DUmmies would've been screaming MANDATE MANDATE!

another worrisome trend, since the loonies took over the Democratic party they nominated McGovern (who was trounced in 72 by Nixon), Mondale (who did marginally better -percentagewise- than MCcGovern but was still humiliated), Dukakis who did a little better still and now sKerry who got within 60k Ohio votes of winning...

So Kerry is at 59,007,869?

I guess that the London newspaper that printed the November 3, 2004 headline "How Could 59 Million Americans Be So Stupid?" was correct after all. : )

I checked out the CA Secretary of State's site, and they have lower numbers for both Bush and Kerry. See http://vote2004.ss.ca.gov/Returns/pres/00.htm#cty

What's your source?
