My opinion?
Reminds me of the Tommy Lasorda soundbite that Jim Healy used to play. "My opinion of Kingman's performance?"
Anyway . . . here's my opinion of sending a dedicated anti-American activist (Such as Franken) on a USO tour . . .

He disguised himself by playing the role of Saddam Hussein in every act last year. Most troops didn't even know it was him on stage or else he would have been boo'ed.

Al Franken & USO Tour? Opinions? Our troops have it tough enough over there, as it is.

I would prefer the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, myself.

Does Franken really want to go where there are Marines with loaded weapons and hair-trigger nerves?
How fast can we get him there?

I say- send him. The troops can always use more target practice. Michael Moore too.

Let him go. I want to see the heart warming welcome he receives from our troops in the field.

You will know why Franken is going, when he comes back and you listen to the trouble-making vitriol that he starts spraying all over the place. Bad this, bad that, the government is lying, yada yada yada......he is no different than Kerry or Fonda...same treasonous ilk.
Just wait.

Reminds me of the Tommy Lasorda soundbite that Jim Healy used to play. "My opinion of Kingman's performance?" Another Lasorda sound bite favored by Healy: 'Bevacqua couldn't hit water if he fell out of an effing boat'.

I have to respect him for going. But..... his 'performance' and demeanor on Scarborough last night was juvenile, to put it kindly. And who is this man really that he is accepted as a pundit or spokesman? Along with Ron Reagan Jr he exemplifies the bankruptcy of the left.

It's not Al Franken's politics that will insult the soldiers, it's the fact that he is NOT FUNNY!!
