Photos of dead civilians from the 9/11 attacks cannot be shown out of respect for the families.
Photos of dead soldiers CAN be shown because it is detrimental to the war effort.

Pics 1,2,3, &5 didn't show.
That day was one of the happiest days of the year for me. By contrast the previous days right up to election night were the most painful. I totally shut off the media, except for Fox now and then. Peace of mind only came for me when I logged on to FR, I'll never forget that.
Note to self: don't forget to donate to FR next time.
