Hey if they give a bunch of illegals amnesty, then I want my green card within the next 6 months...I've been at the immigration game legally for almost 5 years now...giving amnesty to them and not to me is like me getting kicked in the balls by a whole squad of marines...

First off, let me say welcome and good luck in becoming a LEGAL American citizen. As a native born American, and a descendant of immigrants myself, I appreciate your efforts to play by the rules, as millions did before you.

That is the essence of the illegal immigration debate...playing by the rules.

May I suggest that you gather your facts and story, along with some of your family members and / or friends, and present this info in a vanity post, to be aired in prime time.

Go to the threads on immigration, gather up a list of names, and ping us all when you do.

I hate to say this, but anyone who goes through the legal immigration process is a complete and utter idiot.

No offense to you, I know you thought you were doing the right thing - but you are going to be penalized.

I've no idea why anyone goes through the green card application process. A completely unnecessary, time consuming, and sometimes expensive endeavor.

And you run the risk of being deported (something that wouldn't happen if you had simply snuck in).

Drop out of the system, my friend. It's a suckers game.
