A friend of mine wrote that he had just written the editor of his local paper which had also used the cartoon. He and his wife were so upset over this since their son is in Iraq right now. I was upset myself that the newspapers in this country would find humor in this kind of illustration. His newspaper is the Statesville Record and Landmark in Statesville, NC. Did anyone else see this cartoon? If you did, can you scan it and post it for me. I haven't seen it and want to. I am so mad about this.

Is this the one?

A paper or editor can regret being rude, tastless, edgy, controversial, insensitive, but this is the kind of thing that gets buildings burned. Do these editors also have a habit of spitting on babies in front of their mothers, and kicking over motorcycles at biker rallies?

The Democrats are the America-haters and their limits have no bounds.
Fear not, this is why they won't regain national power anytime soon.

I saw it the other day & was disgusted. I run the Today's Toons thread here on FR & obviously I didn't include it.

Can you imagine if something like this had appeared in American newspapers in December 1944 ... while the Battle of the Bulge was underway? The liberals in the media (this generation) just don't grasp what's at stake ... but cowards rarely do.

I've never been able to listen to this beautiful song without getting teary-eyed - first remember it way back when my brother was serving in Vietnam.
Now I'm hearing it while my beloved Marine son-in-law is serving in Iraq, while my daughter and their four children are on Okinawa awaiting his safe return.
This cartoon is despicable.

I was searching for a cartoon and found this.
Absolutely sick cartoon ping. I cannot beleive the MSM is allowing this garbage.

I'm just speechless. Whenever I think liberals have sunk as low as they can go, I discover another sub-basement.
