Calling all FR humor stalwarts to bring this this live thread into seasion!
Comedy gold mine today--Jesse Jackson, Rep. Conyers, John Zogby, Reps. Kucinich, and Nadler will be at their looniest dicussing election conspiracies in this hearing..
I got called a "right-winged Republican" for pointing it out. I took that as a compliment. ROFL
I think it was JJ Jr who asked if they could block the Ohio Electors from voting?
I dont think there are many, if any "L"ibertarians here, although quite a few of us libertarians here. BTW, things like this show why I would never join the party...
Just relax, macho guy.
First Kerry got more than 670,000 votes than Conalley in the whole state of Ohio.
On the other hand, The Ohio Senator Voinovich got approximately 580,000 votes more than President Bush in the state of Ohio and won most counties that President Bush lost. Even in the county that he lost as well as President Bush like Cuyahoga county (Cleveland) area Voinovich got 80,000 vote than President Bush. So if we use the above dumb argument there is much more fraud against President Bush than Kerry.
This the most moronic argument that will be laughed at in any court of law.
"just relax, macho guy."
OK, sure I will uhhh relax, ummm, what exactly prompted me receiving this advice?
Exactly! There just isn't any sensible reason for this recount. We know that the results counted have 2 dems and 2 Republicans present as witnesses. If there was any fraud, it would have been objected at that time. What bothers me is that these recounts and challenges are acceptable. I know, we are trying to make sense of a NON sensible issue. The democrats just need to make noise. I just hope they are turning off more and more sensible democrat voters.
Let them waste their airfare to go out there.. (if it isn't on the taxpayer dime of course)
Fortunately I was out, but had I been home I would surely have avoided this charade. Nadler and Conyers always manage to make my mood sour.
Isn't Conyers the one under investigation for using his government staff to campaign? He's the virtue of election legalities, eh.
Order in Conyers' office may violate congressional rules
