On the 63rd anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, President Bush flew to Camp Pendelton, California and back again to speak with the Marines, and thank them for their service and great sacrifice, but made it clear that the War on Terror is not over. After his public appearance, the President met privately with the families of 50 Marines who have died in Iraq.
The President is leading with strength and certainty, so its a good time to be a Bushbot! ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island, and the Daily Dose!!

Thanks for the ping and posting the dose.
It is hard to decide which are the better pictures, the ones with the children or with the troops.

They are so gorgeous ... I'm really not being picky, but I just don't get the blue ribbon and bow. Without it, as radiant and beautiful as Ms. Laura is in anything she wears, that beaded creation is positively breathtaking. Unless the true color isn't coming through, the blue seems so out of place. I see she's wearing blue earrings, so it was obviously all coordinated. We must not be seeing it as it actually looks in person.

His troops seem delighted to see him, and the feeling appears mutual! Saw the White House Christmas special on HGTV earlier, and it is beautiful as usual. Saw little Barney! I can't wait to see the puppy!
Thanks for the dose ohioWfan!

These soldiers that you are worried about are outstanding fine men and women....I only know one person who calls them *his kids*, my hubby, who is a 1sgt of a Chinook Co....to him, they are *his kids* and feels responsible to bring them all home.

Bewildering, rude, obnoxious, and, most of all, that comment was self-righteous. And I HATE self-righteous people, don't you? I think we need to get rid of these freaks that have suddenly flocked to our thread.

I think the bow is very cute and very stylish. Bows are IN right now! and she would look really dumpy/dowdy without some type of belt/bow there. Just my opinion :)

I didn't think of that. Maybe it looks better in person and the picture just isn't doing it justice.

Are you sure it was Trotta? I remember seeing the other one that day, but I guess I missed Nick.
I've been looking for him.

geeze, that's what I get for looking just at pix before I post & NOT reading the thread. Missed a RAT/varmint.. looks like some of you beat him up good.
I simply do not understand how people have nothing better to do in life than be jerks... for RATS I know it is natural.
Hope whatever was said was not the sort of thing you will carry with you ohio.. I know I like to think I can blow things off, but I really cant.. and hurtful things stay with me too much
hugs hon
