With all the countries Clinton "apologized" to I'm surprised he didn't apologize for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I guess even he realized that wouldn't have been a good move.

If memory serves, Clinton did apologize for it. And he also pressured the post office to NOT release a mushroom cloud stamp on the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

What a world we live in.

Fair enough. Success always occurs in private. Failure in full-view.

Are you sure about that? If he did it would have enraged the World War II vets.

Very sure of it. Clinton didn't give a rip about p!ssing off vets throughout his entire reign. That travesty scarcely registered as a speedbump as he ran roughshod over vets from all wars.

Woot!

Old sailor joke:

Three sailors are on R&R in Tokyo and enter into a Japanese restaurant.

The owner greets the sailors, sits them, and begins friendly conversation by asking each his name.

The first sailor: "John Smith."

Restaurant owner: "Ahh - so huppy to meetshew."

Second sailor: "James Brown."

Restaurant owner: "Ahh - so huppy to meetshew you too!"

Third sailor: "Adam."

Restaurant owner: "Ahh - - yes, go on .. whut iz rest of name pweese . ."

Third sailor: "Bomb . . My name is Adam Bomb."

Please for the Love of God do not allow this post to be misconstrued as me defending Clintoon; however, according to http://reserve.mg2.org/apologies.htm Clinton did not apologize:

April, 1995: President Clinton says, "the United States owes no apology to Japan for having dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki."
