Apparently Republicans in North Carolina DID succeed in overcoming the Ruling Democrat Elite's attempt to reverse voting trends by making Judicial contest's "non-partisan."

Paul Newby is a great man. He is a Christian and was a great scoutmaster for years.
He will make a great Supreme Court justice in North Carolina.

As the Newby on the court, won't he get assigned all the crummy cases?

What does Newby think of scum-sucking, bottom-dwelling personal injury lawyers?

One correction on Paul as a Scoutmaster. He still is the Scoutmaster of our troop.
And he will do a wonderful job on the Supreme Court.

...won't he get assigned all the crummy cases? What do you define as crummy? These are probably the types of cases we need good, conservative judges handling.

Newby was the only speaker on Burr's campaign train that really impressed me. This guy is a REAL conservative.

Justice Newby is possibly the best gentleman I have met in politics. A True Southern Conservative Gentleman.
I was at the ceremony, and he stated what his duties are as the junior justice. He will keep the minutes of the hearings and sign the routine orders. That is a start, i'm sure I. Beverly Lake had to do that once upon a time, so keep going Justice Newby!

It was a joke, son.
All kidding aside, it is nice to hear that a conservative judge was appointed.
