There are two things that can split the GOP:
(1) Immigration.
(2) The religious right's social agenda.

Without the religious right there is no GOP party.

"The religious right's social agenda."Conversely, the secularist right's social agenda -- which turns its back on God and unborn innocents alike.

That wouldn't be our bothersome opposition to PRENATAL INFANTICIDE, now would it?

Your right on one. and wrong on two. There is not a
The religious right's social agenda. If anything there is a LEFT anti-religion agenda. With 1. Take out God,
2. Demonize church goers
3. Make perversion seem like the norm
4. Berate our icons: i.e. the boy scouts, strong men, military.
5. Ridicule anything that is American Culture and Values; i.e. so called same sex unions ( I will not use the M word out of respect.)
Look at Denver. For 30 years they had a Christmas Parade , First they change the name to Parade of lights, then they open it to include just about every perversion and group, then they kick out the Christians and the words Merry Christmas. How can they have a parade of inclusion and exclude 90% of the people? Gay Indians are OK, but Straight Christians need not apply.
IT IS THE LEFT THAT IS OUT TO DESTROY US AND THE RIGHT THAT IS TRYING TO BRING US BACK TO SANITY.

Agree on immigration, especially among the blue collar backers.
(2) The religious right's social agenda.
In what way. I don't necessarily disagree, but I hear a lot of talk about the "Religious Right" without what it is.
I will say that the censorship push by SOME of them will hurt us as bad as the gun issue is hurting the democrats.

"(2) The religious right's social agenda Oh really? It's all the damn religionists fault, eh? No blame for the "moderates" and the pro-aborts?
