Yeah...; Whenever Sen. Susan COLLINS or OloSNOWE "support" President Bush, it's a pretty good indicator that our esteemed Chief Executive has pulled another royal gonger, and flipped off his conservative "base" - which, in between election campaigns, he has no trouble doing whatsoever.
Feels kinda funny having to buck the POTUS you just helped get elected - but the wisdom of puckering up our borders in self-defense despite any potential political issues is just such a no-brainer!

Bush is wrong on this one. Very Priority #1: Keep those GOP coffers filled with donations from companies that demand cheap (illegal) labor. .....and thus open borders.
National defense is a distant second. (And that's giving them the benefit of the doubt).

There is no right answer to this problem. Talking about it and finding solutions is a start and takes great courage and leadership to accomplish. This is not a simple solution.

"I can tell you right now, the feelings are deep. This is not a superficial argument with the president."
Oh, so he takes hispandering more seriously than keeping the lives of hundreds of thousands safe? How can one be serious about the War on Terror without being serious about safe borders and terrorists caught with multiple drivers' licenses?
